System technology – storage towers for SMD components
Hermann BLECHTCHNIK is increasingly producing complex contract manufacturing. In cooperation with the customer, their ideas were implemented and manufactured in sheet metal constructions. Changes in the design – for example, replacing extruded aluminium profiles with sheet metal parts – made it possible to find more cost-effective solutions.
The ‘Magic Tower’ dispensing towers are designed for storing electronic components. The storage towers, with a height of 4 metres, including feed systems, are manufactured and assembled for our customer. The cabling and software installation is carried out at the customer's premises. These towers are used by the end customer to store coils for the semiconductor industry. The entire system comprises approx. 30,000 SMD coils.
